At the 1965 Newport Folk Festival, a young Bob Dylan shook up the folk music scene, moving on to electronic and rock as the voice of a generation — defining one of the most transformative moments in music of the 20th century. In an October 2020 interview with filmmaker Feden Papamichael, the studio’s recently released COVID precautions were putting the Bob Dylan film project on the back burner. So Papamichael and director James Mangold are moving on to other projects. “I don’t think it’s dead,” Papamichael said of the Chalamet-led biopic, “but it’s a tough one to pull off in the COVID-era because it’s all in small clubs with a lot of period costumes and you’ve got a lot of hair and makeup. So our next project is Indiana Jones 5 (2022). Mangold is doing it."
